6th Grade to Now

This beautiful, young lady was once my adorable 6th grade student…  Six years later I was blessed to take her senior portraits.  I am beyond proud of her and what her future holds. ♥

Hello Kitty Party

Little Miss Chloe turned 7, and her mom threw her the coolest Hello Kitty Pajama Breakfast Party!  Not one single party detail was left uncovered.  As the little guests entered the party, decked out in their cutest slumber wear, their eyes lit up as they were entrenched in a sea of pink and black Hello Kitty decor.  On the ‘breakfast’ menu, there was a smorgasbord of goodies to choose from: homemade sausage egg muffins, pancake dippers, Fruit Loop cereal, strawberries, vanilla yogurt parfaits, strawberry milk and more.  For games, the girls played pass the Hello Kitty to music, made Hello Kitty duct tape bows, sang karaoke (Justin Bieber anyone?), and danced like crazy! There was so much thought, time and love that went into making this party Chloe’s Hello Kitty dream come true…

My kids were wanting to get outside since it had rained on and off all morning when my son had a brilliant idea.  ”Mom, let’s go hike somewhere pretty and take pictures.”  I immediately jumped on the idea, excited that for once it wasn’t my idea to take the camera.  And what made it even better is that he wanted us all to get in ‘cowboy’ gear.  I had been wanting to scope out a new spot, which turned out to be really beautiful.  It was high noon which is my least favorite time to break out my camera, but the post-rain clouds made for some awesome picture taking… I savor these moments with my kids.  They won’t be little forever…:(
